Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As the Corporate Medical Office Accounting Specialist, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
• Preparing detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for internal reviews.
• Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with the organization’s financial objectives.
• Maintaining meticulous financial records in compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating with department heads to interpret financial data, offering actionable recommendations to enhance operational performance.
• Conducting periodic audits to detect and resolve discrepancies, ensuring financial integrity.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual tax filings, and engaging with external auditors during financial review periods.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as an Accountant, especially in a healthcare or medical office environment.
• Strong proficiency in accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, particularly in billing and compliance matters, is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
