Key Responsibilities

As an Acupuncturist at Harmony Healing Acupuncture, your principal duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physical examinations to assess patient needs and determine accurate diagnoses.
• Devise individualized treatment plans that may incorporate acupuncture, cold pressor acupressure, cold laser therapy, massage, and other healing techniques.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with state regulations and HIPAA standards, documenting treatment protocols and patient progress.
• Engage in consultative interactions with patients, addressing concerns and educating them on the benefits and outcomes of treatment.
• Participate actively in clinical meetings and professional development training to enhance your skills and knowledge base.
• Collabourate with other healthcare professionals in our team to optimize patient care and support treatment objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Acupuncture or a related field, with preference given to those holding a Doctorate or Master's Degree.
• A valid and active Acupuncture License in New York State.
• Minimum of two years of proven experience as an Acupuncturist in a clinical environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and traditional Chinese medicine principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in various acupuncture techniques along with complementary treatments.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to accurately evaluate patient conditions and craft effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is two years of experience, candidates with additional certifications in complementary therapies such as cupping, herbal medicine, or physical therapy will be considered favorably. Experience working in busy outpatient settings is a plus, as is familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits
