Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive one-on-one acupuncture consultations with patients to assess their health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer a full range of acupuncture services, tailoring treatments to meet the unique conditions and preferences of each patient, including group acupuncture sessions as needed.
• Stay diligent in documenting detailed visit summaries in our electronic medical record system to facilitate seamless patient follow-up and care continuity.
• Provide educational sessions for patients and community groups on the benefits and practices of acupuncture, enhancing awareness and understanding of holistic health approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for outpatients while having the flexibility to support hospitalized patients when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing clinical training and discussions to refine treatment methodologies and improve patient outcomes.
• Fulfill any additional duties as assigned that contribute to the enhancement of patient care processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on the outpatient segment of our patient population, which includes individuals seeking relief from chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and various other medical conditions. Our clinic serves a diverse group, from children to elderly patients, thus requiring a compassionate, adaptable approach to care that respects individual health goals and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on acupuncture experience in a clinical setting.
• A current acupuncture license valid in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an Acupuncture program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).
• Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Professional demeanor, maintaining high standards of appearance and behavior at all times.
• Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to address patient needs efficiently and empathetically.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health environment is highly valued, as it demonstrates an understanding of diverse patient needs.
• Additional training or certifications in acupuncture specialties will enhance your application.
• Experience in providing educational workshops or presentations to the community is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
