Job Description
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
The PACE Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) are responsible for providing the highest quality of skilled and non-skilled care in the day center, or in the community where the participants live. The CNA will follow the established plan-of-care for each participant that may include ADL activities, meal preparation, monitoring vital signs, and communicating any concerns or changes to the proper IDT member.

PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states.
The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

What You Bring:
- Current and valid Colorado Certified Nurse Assistants license, maintained throughout employment.
- Prefer 6 months prior CNA experience.
- Current ServSafe Food Protection certification or obtained within first month of employment.
- Experience working with older adults preferred.
- Experience working with clients who have some cognitive impairment preferred.
- Proficient in computer programs, particularly Microsoft office products.
- Current CPR certification is maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to learn EMR charting systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.
- Effectively work with and build relationships with others.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license, adequate automobile insurance and access to reliable transportation if working in the community setting
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively

- Competitive pay structure starting at $18.50-$22.13 per hour, depending on experience. Differential pay for weekend shifts.
