Lakeshore Talent is in search of a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our client, providing essential home care services to elderly participants in the Charlottesville, VA area.

Position Details:
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Pay: $19.23 - $26.92 per hour (mileage reimbursement provided)
Shift: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (weekends and evening availability is preferred)
Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
The Home Care CNA is responsible for providing routine care and assisting participants with daily living activities, restorative care, and supportive services.
Assist participants with bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, toileting, and mobility
Follow the plan of care and document services provided in compliance with policies and regulations
Support participants during meals, monitor appetite, and assist with feeding when needed
Monitor participants’ health status, including taking vital signs, weights, and checking skin condition
Assist with restorative care, including positioning, transferring, ambulating, oxygen management, and catheter care
Report any accidents, unusual occurrences, or changes in participants' health status to clinical supervisors
Participate in care planning and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Attend continuing education and in-service training (minimum 12 hours per year)
Provide nursing assistant services in participants' homes, including basic household tasks essential to their care
Comply with quality management (QM) activities as requested
Requirements:
Reliable vehicle and a clean Virginia MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
Current and valid state-issued CNA license
First Aid and BLS certifications (must be from American Heart Association or Red Cross) – required prior to hire
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance as required by law
At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly individuals
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent relevant work experience
Familiar with Epic systems (preferred)

Onboarding Requirements:
CNA Certification
CPR/BLS & First Aid Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Primary Source Verification (PSV) (if applicable for CNA role)
Medical Clearance & Free Status (Physical required for CNA roles)
TB Negative Test (Prior to start)
Criminal Background & OIG Check (Office of Inspector General screening)
