Nurse Assistant II - Nursing Float Pool

Nursing Float Pool

Provides patient care under the direction of registered nurse. Activities will vary in relationship to area of assignment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Provides direct patient care by performing treatments and procedures as listed by Nursing Services Department.
2. Insures procedures are documented and nursing care given properly to patients.
3. Assists with patient teaching under guidance of registered nurse.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months health care-related experience and/or training.
• CPR or BLS

Preferred:

• State Certification as a CNA for the State of Michigan
