Hiring! Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Irvine, California

Our team is seeking a full-time CA-licensed COTA to help clients with physical, mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities. We’re dedicated to creating a supportive, flexible, and rewarding environment to work on. 

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 per year + benefits 

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour schedule

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help clients with developmental exercises and sensory stimulation
  
• Observe and record client response to treatment
• Monitor activities to ensure they are performed correctly
• Keep progress notes and post-treatment data in records
• Communicate with the supervisor and other health team members about the patient's therapy progress 
• Prepare treatment areas, such as by setting up therapy equipment
• Work closely with occupational therapists to implement customized treatment plans 

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Valid state licensure or certification as required by state law
• Experience working with patients of all ages, especially those with disabilities, injuries, or chronic conditions
• Ability to implement therapeutic techniques under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
