Key Responsibilities

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at Balance Harmony Wellness, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Registered Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Conducting evaluations to assess patients’ physical and mental abilities, utilizing standardized testing methods to analyze results and establish realistic therapeutic goals.
• Collaborating actively with the rehabilitation team, including physical therapists and social workers, to select appropriate activity programs and integrate occupational therapy effectively with other therapeutic modalities.
• Providing direct patient care, which includes implementing therapeutic exercises, educating patients and their families on adaptive techniques, and supporting them in daily activities that enhance independence.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of patient progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Preparing and managing therapeutic equipment and assistive devices, ensuring proper use and safety during therapy sessions.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
