Front Desk/ Therapy Assistant for a Chiropractic Clinic

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Clinic Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00-1:00 & 3:00-5:30

Clinic is closed Tuesday and Friday- Sunday.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk / Therapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. ( but for the right person this can turn into a lucrative office manager job as we are looking to grow and expand to multiple clinics and promote from within.) This role involves answering the phone, using the computer to schedule patient and input patient information and procedure codes for billing purposes, taking payments, generating ledger reports, accurately filing patient travel cards, many other clerical supportive duties, supporting chiropractors in providing exceptional patient care, assisting with assessments, light cleaning duties and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient service skills, and a proactive attitude to help patients achieve their wellness goals. No experience is required and we will train you. Duties

• Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out processes
• Conduct patient intake, including gathering insurance information, verifying insurance benefits and receiving and processing patient intake forms
• Assist chiropractors with patient therapies
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure clinic cleanliness and organization of equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient visits using appropriate medical codes( we can train you)
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
• You should be comfortable with computers as we use two different electronic health records systems to schedule patients and input the service codes for each patient.
• light cleaning of the clinic, including vacuuming, mopping etc.

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically
• Experience with intake procedures and understanding of medical documentation standards is a plus but is not required. This is not a comprehensive list as more duties will need to be performed and will be explained.
• A reliable and dependable person who always shows up for work.
