Position Summary
The Clinical Director oversees all clinical operations, supervises clinical staff, ensures quality documentation, and maintains compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Collaborates with leadership to support and improve program services.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years in clinical management; knowledge of JCAHO standards and performance improvement practices.
Licensure: Current licensure in relevant clinical discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, etc.).
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and team-building abilities.
Client Population: Adults
Other Requirements: Familiarity with safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise clinical staff and ensure quality care and documentation.
Coordinate with CEO, Medical Director, and Utilization Review for program effectiveness.
Lead clinical meetings and performance evaluations.
Manage professional development, training, and staff morale initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, safety manuals, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in recruitment and hiring of clinical staff.
Maintain confidentiality and a safe, therapeutic environment.
Provide direct patient care and crisis support as needed.
Oversee staff scheduling and adherence to licensure and training standards.
Collaborate with senior leadership to implement performance improvement plans.
