Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 + benefits

Position Overview:

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) looking to make a difference in patients' lives? We have an immediate opening for qualified Physical Therapist Assistants. This role offers the unique advantage of spending more time with each patient and managing a smaller daily caseload compared to a traditional outpatient clinic.

Job Duties:

Carry out individual physical therapy treatment plans that have been developed by a physical therapist.
Apply modalities to patients in accordance with established procedures and Plan of Care.
Train patients in exercise, ambulation, activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment and positioning aids.
Document patient/client progress by adding to and maintaining ongoing records such as progress notes.
Refer patients to other services when appropriate.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Notify supervising therapists when a patient needs evaluation in accordance with the State practice laws.
Participate in in-services to broaden knowledge of physical therapy and other related topics.
Participate in educational programs that meet the state's CEU requirements and licensure.

Requirements:

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
Current State of New Jersey Physical Therapy Assistant license.(Required)
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
