Full-time Dental Assistant Needed

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and welcoming environment for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adhere to strict infection control protocols.

Salary:
  • $50,000 to $70,000 a year with full benefits
Flexible Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and cleanliness of the dental environment.
  • Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Utilize dental software systems for managing patient information.
  • Display knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in diagnostic procedures and treatment planning.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Active state Dental Assistant license.
  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Familiarity with general dentistry practices and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance is essential.
