Full-time Dental Assistant Needed

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. This role involves assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for sterilizing instruments, managing inventory, and handling patient records. A strong focus on teamwork and communication will help create a positive atmosphere for both staff and patients. Salary:
  • $50,000 to $70,000 a year with full benefits
Flexible Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday 9 AM - 4 PM
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and cleanliness of the dental environment.
  • Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Manage patient records and assist with scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Utilize dental software systems for managing patient information.
  • Display knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in diagnostic procedures and treatment planning.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Active state Dental Assistant license.
  • At least 1-2 years of previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Familiarity with general dentistry practices and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance is essential.
