Dental Assistant – Las Vegas, Nevada

A busy dental practice in Nevada is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join the team. This role involves working closely with the dentist to ensure smooth procedures, maintain a well-organized treatment area, and provide excellent patient care. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced setting and have a strong understanding of dental procedures.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside with a range of procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and orthodontic treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all necessary materials are stocked and ready.
• Take digital and portable X-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
• Monitor and replenish dental supplies as needed.
• Follow all OSHA and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry setting.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, documentation, and procedures.
• Experience with dental software; Open Dental knowledge is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; formal dental assistant training preferred.
