Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Full-Time Role in Mobile, Alabama

Be a part of a group that truly cares about their community and has the goal to give back!  As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your expertise will provide counseling and mental health services within a marital and family context and support individuals and families in overcoming personal obstacles.

Position Overview:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus benefits

Key Duties:

• Conduct therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, promoting emotional healing.
• Perform client assessments to establish effective treatment strategies.
• Fosters an environment that promotes trust and cooperation among patients and staff
• Documentation demonstrates intervention that supports patients’ treatment
• Support and closely coordinate mental health care with the patient’s primary care provider and other treating mental health providers
• Provide crisis support and interventions when necessary.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
• Licensed to practice in the state of Alabama as LMFT
• A positive and compassionate attitude
• Excellent communication and counseling skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Ability to take initiative and exercise independent and sensible judgment; demonstrates clinical decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
