Remote Outpatient Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – California

Location: El Monte, California

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

We’re seeking a Remote Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our mission-driven team and help shape the future of accessible, collaborative mental healthcare in California.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adult and/or adolescent clients (based on your clinical interests)
  • Provide ongoing care via telepsychiatry, with sessions scheduled around your availability
  • Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and case managers to ensure coordinated treatment
  • Monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain documentation in our secure EHR
  • Deliver care that is trauma-informed, inclusive, and rooted in cultural humility

What We’re Looking For:

  • MD or DO license in good standing in California
  • Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Psychiatry
  • Active DEA license and controlled substance registration in California
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of outpatient experience (telehealth experience a plus)
  • Commitment to high-quality, ethical, and inclusive care
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Comfort using EHRs and virtual platforms
