Physical Therapists Needed in Portland, Oregon- Full-time opportunity

Our team is currently looking for a Professional Physical Therapist to work in an assisted living facility. Join our Team now and be part of a fulfilled movement to help patients regain their range of motion, manage their pain, and improve their overall quality of life. 

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical capabilities, including range of motion, muscle strength, gait patterns, and balance to identify areas needing improvement.
• Develop individualized exercise routines tailored to each resident's needs, incorporating exercises for strengthening, stretching, and balance training
• Provide hands-on guidance and teach residents how to perform exercises safely and correctly, adapting exercises as needed
• Utilize modalities like heat therapy, ice packs, and manual therapy techniques to address pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions
• Educate residents on fall prevention techniques, including proper gait patterns, and environmental modifications
• Teaching residents how to use wheelchairs, walkers, canes, and other assistive devices appropriately

Requirements:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Oregon
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Experience in an Assisted Living Facility (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans
• Passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
