Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey

We are seeking a certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to help launch and support our Outpatient therapy practice. As PTA, you will assist in treating patients utilizing therapy modalities and procedures according to the prescription of the physicians, and the treatment established by the Physical Therapist

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 per year + benefits

Patient Volume: 1-2 patients per hour

Job Duties:

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans developed by the PT
• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Monitor and document patient progress, responses, and modifications to therapy
• Educate patients on proper movement techniques, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout therapy sessions
• Work with PT's, doctors, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and insurance guidelines

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from a CAPTE-accredited program
• Valid New Jersey PTA License
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with EMR System Web PT is a plus
