Nurse Practitioner Needed in an Assisted Living Facility – full-time opportunity 

Location: Maine , New York

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $180,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits 

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team. Whether you're an experienced provider or a newer NP looking to grow, we offer a collaborative and supportive environment where you can truly make a difference.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive healthcare services including diagnosis, treatment, health education, and preventive care. You will work closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.

Job Duties:

• Conduct physical exams, patient assessments, and routine screenings
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
• Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and wellness strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York
• National certification as FNP, AGNP, ANP, etc. (based on specialty)
• DEA license (or eligibility)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
• 1+ year of experience in [e.g., primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, urgent care
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Athena)
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations
