Vibrant Minds Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Conduct comprehensive initial assessments through clinical interviews and psychological testing to accurately identify patient concerns and treatment needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based approaches, responding to the unique goals and preferences of each client.
Provide ongoing therapy sessions, allowing for flexibility in therapeutic styles to suit a diverse range of client backgrounds and issues.
Monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their therapeutic journey, adjusting treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and feedback.
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHRs) that document sessions, progress notes, and treatment modifications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, social workers, and educators—to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care.
Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and maintain licensure, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring clients' confidentiality and obtaining informed consent.
Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with seeking help.
Our diverse client population includes children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. A Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
Active and unrestricted state licensure as a psychologist is mandatory.
Proven expertise or specialization in areas such as child psychology, trauma therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
Strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches, with demonstrated practical experience.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse populations.
While a minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with a strong background in delivering individual therapy, family therapy, and psychological assessments will be given preference. Familiarity with teletherapy practices and tools is also advantageous.
