Full-time Dental Assistant Needed

We are excited to welcome a skilled Dental Assistant to our friendly dental team. In this role, you will assist dentists with various procedures, ensuring that patients receive efficient and compassionate care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist in taking X-rays, and help with patient education on oral hygiene. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in keeping our clinic running smoothly. Salary:

• $50,000 to $70,000 a year with full benefits

Flexible Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
  
• Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and cleanliness of the dental environment.
  
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Utilize dental software systems for managing patient information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Active state Dental Assistant license.
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a Dental Assistant
• Familiarity with general dentistry practices and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance is essential.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a university setting.
