Job Description

We’re hiring a full-time permanent Chairside Dental Assistant who’s confident, calm, and focused on creating great experiences for patients. You’ll work directly with the doctor, help keep our clinical flow smooth, and be a key part of a collaborative, supportive team.
What You’ll Do- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, implants, veneers, Invisalign, and extractions.
- Prepare and organize instruments, materials, and treatment rooms for patient procedures.
- Sterilize dental instruments and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
- Take digital dental X-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures.
- Record patient medical and dental histories accurately in electronic records.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
- Provide a friendly and calming presence for patients
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards in the dental practice.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional dental assistant certification or training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role in a dental practice.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization protocols.
- Proficiency in using dental software and electronic health records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Current CPR certification and understanding of basic first aid.
- Radiology and X-ray license.
- Willingness to stay updated with continuing education and industry best practices.
$26–$30/hr + bonus pay
37+ hours/week (Tues–Fri + admin Mondays)
