JOB DUTIES: Dentist for Mt. Enterprise Community Health Clinic dba Crossroads Family Care. Responsible for diagnosing and treating oral diseases and conditions, including tooth decay, gum disease, and oral cancers. Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits. Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants to prevent tooth decay. Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays, intraoral cameras, and oral exams to assess patients' oral health and develop treatment plans. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, materials, and techniques through ongoing professional development and training. Restore damaged or missing teeth using crowns, bridges, and other restorative techniques. Provide basic cosmetic procedures, including teeth whitening and tooth-colored fillings, to enhance patients' smiles. Deliver emergency dental care for patients experiencing severe pain, trauma, or other urgent dental needs.

REQUIREMENTS: Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited program.

License/Certification Required:

Active State Dental License - with no restrictions
