Work Hours: Monday - Friday: 9 AM-5 PM
Compensation: $150,000.00 - $200,000 per year + benefits
Are you a skilled and compassionate Dentist seeking an opportunity to provide comprehensive oral health care in a dynamic, multidisciplinary hospital setting? Our hospital-based dental team works closely with medical specialists, nurses, anesthesiologists, social workers, and allied health professionals to provide full-scope dental care that is both clinically excellent and socially impactful.
Job Duties:
- Perform comprehensive oral evaluations, radiographic interpretation, and treatment planning.
- Deliver a full scope of preventive, restorative, surgical, and emergency dental services.
- Treat patients in both clinical and hospital settings, including inpatient consults and OR-based procedures under sedation or general anesthesia.
- Collaborate with medical teams to manage oral-systemic disease, preoperative evaluations, and complex case management.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and hospital staff on oral health, hygiene practices, and the role of dental care in overall wellness.
- Ensure detailed documentation using our integrated Electronic Health Record system (Epic or Dentrix preferred).
- Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards in all clinical environments.
- Participate in quality improvement, hospital committees, and continuing education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice dentistry in Arizona
- Completion of an accredited AEGD, GPR, or hospital dentistry residency preferred
- Experience working with medically complex, pediatric, or special-needs populations highly valued
- Competency in extractions, restorations, and minor oral surgery
- Experience with sedation dentistry and OR protocols (preferred but not required)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
