Work Environment

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and compassion. Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a hygienic, organized workspace.
• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including delivering instruments, providing suction, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Support the production and management of radiographs (X-rays) while accurately maintaining patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Monitor patients' movement and positioning during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain adequate supplies and materials for treatments, conducting inventory checks and ordering as necessary.
• Open and close the dental office, following established protocols to ensure security and readiness for patient care.
• Adhere to and promote infection control standards according to the latest guidelines to prevent cross-contamination.
• Provide education to patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering better health outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with both patients and dental team members to facilitate coordination and patient flow.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations as they arise within clinical settings.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the dental team, adapting to the evolving needs of the practice.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with patients and collaborators.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with robust organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a dental office setting, particularly in roles that involve direct patient interaction, is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with dental software and EHR platforms to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Experience with radiography and patient management in a clinical context.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 40,000 and 60,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
