Key Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and safe.
• Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments and ensuring cleanliness to adhere to health standards.
• Welcoming patients and guiding them through the examination process to alleviate any anxieties they may have.
• Taking and developing dental X-rays as directed, ensuring accurate imaging for proper diagnoses.
• Supporting dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and more, under the guidance of the dentist.
• Scheduling and managing patient appointments as well as maintaining accurate patient records using our electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Providing informative oral hygiene instructions and post-treatment care guidance to patients for optimal home care.
• Maintaining inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are always sufficient for uninterrupted operations.
• Conducting basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming dental models for various procedures.
• Assisting front office staff with billing processes and insurance claims as needed.

Qualifications
