Work Environment

This role is situated in our outpatient dental office, where you will be immersed in a fast-paced yet supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside a passionate team of dental professionals dedicated to maintaining a clean and efficient clinic. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic, while you contribute to enhancing patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the practice, ensuring a friendly atmosphere as you escort them to the operatory.
• Assist the dentist during various procedures by providing chair-side support, which includes preparing instruments and materials needed for treatment.
• Maintain a sterile and organized working environment by adhering to current infection control protocols and regularly sterilizing instruments.
• Perform administrative tasks such as reviewing patients' health histories, documenting chart entries under the dentist's guidance, and ensuring all forms are accurately completed.
• Support patients throughout their visit by educating them about procedures and addressing any concerns with compassion and professionalism.
• Organize operatories by stocking necessary supplies and maintaining an up-to-date inventory of clinical supplies.
• Prepare and set up appropriate trays and instruments daily based on the schedule of appointments.
• Take digital radiographs as needed to assist with diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Execute practice protocols concerning quality assurance, biohazard safety, and protocols for emergency situations and treatment.
• Participate in regular training and continuous education opportunities provided to enhance your professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Prior exposure to digital radiography and contemporary dental technologies.
• Experience with patient management systems will be beneficial.
