Your role will be based in our fully-equipped outpatient dental office situated in the serene Paradise Valley, a community known for its picturesque landscapes and tight-knit atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and arrange dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist dentists during procedures by passing necessary instruments, providing suction for visibility, and ensuring patient comfort and security.
• Support the production of radiographs, including X-rays, while maintaining precise and accurate patient records for effective treatment management.
• Monitor and assist with patient positioning and movement throughout their visit, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience.
• Prepare and supply necessary materials and instruments for dental procedures, anticipating the needs of the dentists effectively.
• Open and close the dental clinic, adhering to established protocols for setup and shutdown.
• Follow strict infection control procedures to maintain a hygienic and sterile clinical environment, protecting both patients and staff.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, enhancing their understanding of health recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, ensuring that all concerns and inquiries are addressed accurately.
• Utilize dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage patient information efficiently.
• Recognize and respond swiftly to emergency situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Perform additional assisting duties as directed by the dental team to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Dental Assistant registration from the State Board of Dental Examiners.

• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a dental assisting role is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 40,000 – 60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
