Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring a sterile environment to promote patient safety.
• Handle sterilization of dental instruments and rigorous disinfection of all surfaces in exam rooms.
• Welcome and prepare patients for examinations/treatments, creating a friendly and reassuring environment.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist, adhering to safety and procedural protocols.
• Provide support during dental treatments, which may include cosmetic procedures, fillings, extractions, and root canals, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed.
• Schedule patient appointments and meticulously manage patient records, using our electronic health records (EHR) system to maintain accuracy.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare instructions following dental procedures.
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming dental models for further procedures.
• Assist with front office functions including billing and insurance processing, contributing to a seamless workflow.

Compensation and Benefits
