White Tooth Dental in Hampton, Virginia, is seeking dedicated and skilled General Dentists to join our team on a full-time basis. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, while contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. The position operates primarily onsite within our state-of-the-art outpatient dental office.

Work Environment

The dentist position is a full-time role, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Our clinics are designed for optimal patient care and equipped with the latest technology and tools in dentistry. Operating hours are from 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional on-call hours on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4 PM. Flexibility in hours may be needed based on geographic location and practice demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with fellow dental team members and staff, fostering a collaborative working environment.
• Lead and mentor dental assistants and support staff to ensure high quality patient care and efficient operational practices.
• Perform a diverse range of dental procedures, from routine check-ups and cleanings to advanced treatments such as root canals and molar extractions.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities and professional development events organized by our Founders and team members to enhance dental skills.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care to all patients, regardless of their socio-economic background.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the office leadership to align on patient management and clinic operations.
• Utilize Open Dental software to streamline patient scheduling, record-keeping, and ensure efficient clinic workflow.
• Implement safety protocols and nurturing a culture of safety within the clinic is paramount.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice welcomes a diverse clientele, treating patients from various backgrounds, including children, adults, and seniors. Our responsive approach allows us to address each patient's unique oral health needs, ensuring that everyone receives personalized attention and care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
• A valid dental license is required prior to commencement of employment.
• Willingness to obtain credentialing with Medicaid to broaden our service offerings to a wider patient base.
• An eagerness for professional growth and continuous improvement in dentistry skills is essential.

Preferred Experience

• While previous experience is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice.

Compensation and Benefits
