Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized therapy plans that address specific speech, language, and swallowing needs of each resident.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the communication abilities and swallowing functions of patients.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools, including augmentative and alternative communication devices when appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance outcomes.
• Document all interactions and treatment results in a clear, organized manner to facilitate communication within the healthcare team.
• Participate in case conferences and collaborate with other professionals to review treatment plans and strategies.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety.

The primary patient population includes adults recovering from strokes, neurological disorders, or injuries that affect their speech and swallowing capabilities. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
