We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Forward Function Healthcare Center in Salem, Oregon. In this full-time, onsite role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the communication abilities and overall quality of life of our residents within a skilled nursing facility setting. You will focus on individuals facing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, helping them regain their independence and self-expression.

Your work will be primarily performed in our skilled nursing facility, where you will collaborate closely with a interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated care. You will work primarily with elderly residents facing various challenges, including neurodegenerative diseases, stroke recovery, and age-related communication barriers. Your expertise will be crucial in aiding these individuals to communicate effectively and safely, ultimately enhancing their experiences within the nursing facility.
While not mandatory, candidates with experience in geriatric rehabilitation or experience utilizing advanced therapeutic tools and modalities will be preferred.
