Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' speech, language, and communication abilities to identify areas of need.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' communication skills, considering individual goals and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as articulation therapy, language intervention, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing guidance on effective communication strategies that can be practiced at home.
• Document and monitor each patient's progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case meetings, collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and family members about speech and language disorders, empowering them with the knowledge to support their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Speech Language Pathologist, you will engage with a diverse client population, including children experiencing developmental delays, school-aged children with speech impediments, and adults recovering from strokes or traumatic brain injuries. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits
