You will be working onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, within a skilled nursing facility that is well-equipped to support your important work. Our spacious therapy areas are designed to foster a comfortable and effective rehabilitation process, enabling you to carry out various assessments and treatment sessions efficiently. The collaborative culture at Monterey Palm encourages teamwork, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nursing staff.
Your focus will be primarily on older adults residing in our skilled nursing facility, many of whom may experience age-related speech and language conditions, as well as cognitive impairments and swallowing difficulties. The role will require sensitivity, as these residents may find communication challenging and require a compassionate approach to maximize their rehabilitation potential.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
