Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Greet and warmly welcome patients and visitors, establishing a friendly and professional environment that sets the tone for their healthcare experience.
Accurately register patients by collecting and verifying their personal information as well as insurance details to streamline the check-in process.
Effectively schedule appointments and manage calendars, ensuring that patient needs are met promptly while maximizing the clinic's operational efficiency.
Respond to incoming calls and inquiries, providing clear and helpful information regarding services, appointments, and healthcare procedures.
Coordinate referrals to specialists, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and follow-up within the organization and with external healthcare providers.
Verify patient insurance coverage and secure necessary authorizations for medical services to prevent billing issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
Handle co-payment transactions and process patient payments with accuracy, fostering transparency and trust in financial interactions.
Maintain electronic medical records (EMRs) with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality, adhering to strict HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Collaborate closely with medical staff to promote efficient patient flow, aiming to minimize wait times and optimize the patient experience.
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents, contributing to the overall efficiency of the front office.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
