JOB SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant supports departmental operations by compiling and analyzing data, preparing reports, and developing documentation to ensure efficient workflow. This role involves creating complex charts and graphs, conducting statistical and budgetary studies, and providing administrative support such as travel arrangements, expense reporting, and supply management. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and analyze data to prepare reports, charts, and recommendations
Conduct statistical and budgetary studies to support departmental decision-making
Develop and maintain operating instructions for efficient information flow
Design and revise forms for internal reporting and control
Prepare presentation materials and documentation for projects and objectives
Provide administrative support including travel arrangements, expense reporting, and supply ordering
Communicate with management to obtain and exchange information
Support continuous improvement by recommending areas for efficiency gains
Assist with factory operations for a worker population of 300+ employees
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, plus 2 years of related experience OR High School diploma/equivalent with specialized courses and 6+ years of related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word) with intermediate to advanced skills
Experience as an Administrative Assistant in a dynamic office environment
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Experience with Coupa for purchasing, Concur for travel, and BCD Travel systems
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and support factory operations
Strong work ethic and proactive, action-oriented mindset
Certifications
Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience
Additional business administration or technical coursework preferred
