Our client, a growing and employee-focused manufacturer in Eldridge, IA is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support the daily operations of Human Resources. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys creating exceptional employee experiences, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping processes organized, compliant, and running smoothly. As the Human Resources Coordinator, reporting to the HR Manager, you will serve as a key resource for employees, candidates, leadership, and visitors while managing many of the essential administrative and operational functions that support the employee lifecycle. This is a full-time, direct hire, fully onsite position that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruiting, interviews, onboarding, and new hire orientation activities.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer benefits, leave programs, and employee-related transactions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee, applicant, and visitor inquiries.
- Support HR operations through training coordination, reporting, meetings, and employee events.
- Maintain compliance records and assist with audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives.
- Support employee engagement and employer branding through internal communications, social media, and career site updates.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of human resources or HR administrative support experience.
- Associate degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of human resources principles, practices and employment laws.
- Familiarity with recruiting, onboarding, and employee recordkeeping processes preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly learn HRIS platforms and business software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
