Mancan Staffing's Chardon Office is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in Mentor, OH to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant! If you have a strong background in accounts payable, office administration, and customer service, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team with competitive pay and great benefits.
Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule:
Monday Friday
8:15 AM 4:45 PM
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Will consider 3040 hours per week with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule
Benefits available for employees working 30+ hours per week
Job Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls
Welcome visitors and manage front desk responsibilities
Sort and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and manage faxes
Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, coding, data entry, and filing
Reconcile vendor statements and process checks and ACH payments
Prepare daily shipments and customer invoices
Order office supplies and perform general clerical duties
Assist with accounts receivable by following up on customer payments
Coordinate company lunches, meetings, and special events
Assist with Microsoft Word and Excel projects
Provide support to Customer Service and Human Resources as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
3+ years of Administrative/Office experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (Access is a plus)
Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local travel
