Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 per year + benefits

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides individualized care and treatment, considering the age and developmental needs of each person served, and conducts professional assessments of family needs while delivering family therapy interventions
Independently develops biopsychosocial summaries, implements interventions for discharge barriers, and coordinates all aspects of discharge planning and documentation
Advocates and negotiates with internal and external systems on behalf of the person served, ensuring adherence to professional standards
Offers crisis intervention, supports families in understanding mental illness complexities, and utilizes all interactions with the person served as opportunities for empowering therapeutic interventions
Conducts counseling sessions, facilitates therapeutic groups, and actively participates in community and treatment team meetings, representing the clinical needs of the person served

Minimum Qualifications

Unrestricted LCMHC license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action
Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required
Experience with telehealth or virtual counseling services
Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse utilization review process preferred
Comfortable working with various virtual communication tools and platforms
