About the Role:
We are seeking a Licensed Family Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on enhancing emotional well-being and fostering healthy relationships. This role involves working with clients who may be experiencing a range of challenges, including developmental disabilities and crisis situations. The Family Therapist will utilize various therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns.
- Perform clinical assessments and create tailored treatment plans
- Apply evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and family systems therapy
- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution support as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
- Participate in case consultations and ongoing training
Requirements:
- Active LMFT license in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Expertise in evidence-based therapy models
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
