Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one video counseling sessions with clients, utilizing telehealth technology to improve their mental health outcomes.
• Facilitate discussions regarding emotions and experiences, encouraging clients to gain deeper insights into themselves and their relationships.
• Act as an advocate for your clients, guiding them in defining tangible goals and objectives for their treatment.
• Evaluate clients' mental health conditions and craft personalized treatment plans utilizing a solution-focused approach grounded in clinical knowledge.
• Minimize administrative burdens with minimal paperwork, focusing primarily on session notes and allowing the organization to handle other administrative tasks.
• Ensure you are up-to-date on best practices and therapeutic techniques to provide the most effective treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with are carefully screened, stable adults with low acuity issues. Our objective is to support individuals facing everyday life challenges that may affect their mental health, such as relationship dynamics, stress management, and personal development. This allows you to focus on impactful, meaningful therapy sessions without overwhelming caseloads.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) from a recognized state board; please note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Ability to assess client needs effectively and make professional recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
• Proficient computer skills including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct counseling experience, showcasing your ability to handle a variety of cases.
• Experience in providing therapy to a diverse clientele or in specific therapeutic modalities that align with our services.
