Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs, formulate personalized treatment plans, and set realistic therapeutic goals aligned with the client’s aspirations.
• Implement family systems theory to effectively address relationship dynamics and enhance communication skills within families.
• Deliver crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring a safe space for clients while promptly addressing their immediate emotional and psychological needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential client records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards of practice.
• Provide education on relationship skills, effective communication, and coping strategies to empower clients and promote mental wellness.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including fellow therapists and medical staff, to create well-rounded care strategies for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of evolving trends and interventions in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with personal struggles, couples facing relational difficulties, and families dealing with complex communication issues. As such, our therapists are entrusted to address a broad spectrum of mental health concerns, ranging from mild anxiety and depression to significant family dysfunctions. The ability to adapt therapeutic methods to meet each client's scenario is paramount for achieving positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois, or eligible for licensure upon hiring.
• A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience as a licensed therapist, with a focus on outpatient therapy services.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and a compassionate demeanor toward clients in various circumstances.
• Commitment to ethical and professional standards and a solid understanding of confidentiality in therapeutic practice.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a virtual team setting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

• The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
