Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT at Balanced Insight Counseling Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, couple, and family therapy sessions virtually, utilizing evidence-based practices to address specific psychological and emotional challenges.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of individual and family dynamics, aiming to foster positive relationships and enhance emotional health.
• Facilitating therapeutic interventions for an array of issues, including but not limited to grief and loss, conflict resolution among family members, communication difficulties, and adjustment challenges related to divorce and remarriage.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
• Working collaboratively with other mental health professionals to ensure holistic, integrated care for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support families and individuals facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
• Experiences of physical and psychological abuse.
• Grief and loss, pertaining to various life transitions.
• Blended family dynamics and challenges arising from remarriage.
• Job-related stress and its impact on familial relationships.
• Supporting children and adolescents through their unique developmental challenges within the family context.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A dedication to clinical excellence and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
