Work Environment

This remote position empowers you to provide essential therapy services from the comfort of your own space while maintaining an active connection with clients and colleagues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on resolving emotional and relational challenges throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' emotional landscapes, relational dynamics, and recovery ambitions. Create individualized treatment plans that blend mental health support with rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques drawn from family systems theory, enhancing communication skills, conflict resolution, and coping strategies among clients and their families.
• Collaborate actively with the healthcare team to ensure cohesive care and alignment of treatment goals. This includes attending interdisciplinary meetings and sharing insights regarding clients' progress.
• Provide timely support and crisis intervention during acute challenges clients encounter in their rehabilitation journey, ensuring their emotional safety and stability.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans while adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Educate clients and their families on the emotional components of recovery, assisting them in developing effective coping mechanisms and reinforcing family bonds.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy as well as rehabilitation therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.
• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits
