Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, identifying their specific needs and crafting personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic programs designed to address clients’ unique challenges and objectives, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster connection, empowerment, and healing, ensuring a safe space for open discussion.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to provide integrated care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Educate and support clients’ families throughout the therapeutic process, helping them understand the treatment journey and provide the necessary support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring high-quality documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families experiencing complex emotional and relational challenges. Clients may face issues related to marriage and family dynamics, communication barriers, and other interpersonal conflicts. Your work will significantly contribute to restoring healthy relationships and improving the overall mental health of your clients, ultimately aiding them in leading fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Proven ability to build therapeutic relationships with clients through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and struggles, fostering a trusting therapeutic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload and meet administrative requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing therapy to couples and families dealing with relationship issues, including effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Familiarity with behavioral health technologies and telehealth platforms used for remote interactions.
• Background in delivering evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
