Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your role will involve a varied range of responsibilities focused on delivering compassionate and effective mental health care, including:

• Conducting in-depth psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available supports.
• Providing individualized and family therapy, as well as group sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Creating and executing personalized treatment plans that set clear, achievable goals for clients’ progress.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and continuity of care.
• Facilitating crisis intervention and safety planning as necessary, ensuring the well-being of clients at all times.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Leading psychoeducation sessions and support groups aimed at enhancing client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Proficient understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and their application in varied clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred for this role:

• A minimum of two years working in a mental health or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
