Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions to identify specific issues and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidenced-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using a variety of modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress through regular follow-ups and reassessments.
• Provide teletherapy services for clients utilizing secure and HIPAA-compliant platforms, ensuring accessible care for individuals facing mobility challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes to uphold ethical standards and ensure continuity of care.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Mind Upset Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families. Our clients typically seek help with a range of issues, including but not limited to relationship dynamics, anxiety disorders, depressive episodes, trauma recovery, and life transition challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through their emotional struggles, promoting healing and growth.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven ability to establish secure and trusting relationships with clients through excellent communication and nurturing interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients and their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a varied caseload effectively and meet administrative deadlines.

Preferred Experience
