Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide therapy services from your home or any location that suits your work style. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration and minimal scheduling conflicts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations of clients to assess their mental health status and formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations, strengths, and goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, couples counseling, and family therapy with an emphasis on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
• Utilize telehealth platforms and tools effectively to engage clients, ensuring a connection and continuity of care in a virtual environment.
• Participate in continuous professional development through avenues such as clinical supervision, workshops, and advanced training programs to expand therapeutic skills.
• Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy, integrating this knowledge into practice.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and protocols to maintain confidentiality and ensure a safe space for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work primarily with a diverse clientele that includes individuals navigating personal life challenges, couples seeking to enhance their relationships, and families addressing systemic issues. Our client base reflects a wide array of backgrounds, experiences, and needs, allowing for rich and varied therapeutic interactions. Candidates should be prepared to address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, parenting challenges, grief, and trauma.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the State of Oregon.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing therapy services, including the development and implementation of treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote therapeutic context, to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Proficiency and comfort in utilizing online therapy tools, ensuring a seamless virtual experience for clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Background in working with various age groups and client demographics.
• Familiarity with integrated care approaches and collaboration with other health professionals.

Compensation and Benefits
