Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still directly impacting the mental health of individuals and families. You'll engage with clients through telehealth technology, making use of secure platforms that facilitate therapy sessions and maintain patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their mental health needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to address a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Provide specialized counseling and support to clients experiencing PTSD, utilizing trauma-informed care approaches to promote recovery and resilience.
• Manage case responsibilities, including coordination with other professionals and resources to address any ancillary services clients may require.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes in accordance with ICD-9 guidelines to ensure compliance and best practice standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to enhance treatment strategies and client outcomes.
• Offer family counseling sessions that support positive relational dynamics and strengthen family systems, empowering families to work through challenges together.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families dealing with various mental health issues. Your expertise will be especially valuable for clients managing PTSD, emotional difficulties, and behavioral challenges. Our clients are at different stages of their healing journeys, which necessitates a compassionate and adaptable therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A current and valid LMFT license issued by the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapy services in clinical settings.
• A solid understanding of various therapeutic techniques, particularly CBT and ABA, along with the ability to implement them effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar settings.
• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and related technology.
• Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities or innovative techniques for client engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, reflecting your expertise and experience.
