Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment needs, ensuring personalized care that addresses their unique circumstances.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with assessment findings and client goals, continuously adjusting them based on client progress and feedback.
• Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques to facilitate meaningful change.
• Monitor and document clients' progress diligently, maintaining accurate records that guide ongoing treatment and support best practices in therapeutic care.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of clients' well-being.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to vital community and mental health resources, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to thrive.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to the ethical standards of practice outlined by state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice focuses on providing mental health services to a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, family dynamics, and relationship issues. You will work with a variety of age groups and backgrounds, allowing you to apply your expertise in a range of therapeutic situations while contributing to positive outcomes for your clients.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT in the state of New York.
• Two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in treating mood disorders, with proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize patient care.
• A successful track record of achieving positive outcomes in therapy for clients facing mood disorders or interpersonal challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
